Cheaper...Wild Hawk

Of course, once Harbor Freight starts carrying these, you can begin considering them "disposable". The Wild Hawk is a knock off clone cheap version of the EPP foam Easy Star. Super forgiving, very cheap, and easy to fly...got to see if our local Harbor Freight has one.

    Picked up a new Futaba 7CAP radio as well as an Easy Star foam kit from Multiplex on Ebay. Also found a Wild Hawk on sale from Harbor Freight locally (funny, they didn't have any last weekend and didn't even show them in their system). Seems like a pretty good little plane.

    Got a good 30 minutes of flying time on the Aerobird Xtreme tonight. It does a LOT better if you don't hold your turns too long and slow it down a little.

    Playing around with the Real Flight G4.5 RC Flight sim. I LOVE flying the Park Zone Typhoon 3D 2. Very responsive and easy to control, seems like. Here is a cool video of some of the indoor 3D flying: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1ICOKEpU-Lc&feature=related
